Digital World is an open network and standards framework, not a single company. Here's how responsibility for this website and the network is actually organized.
digitalworld.earth is maintained as a shared reference and entry point for the Digital World network - documentation, engineering specifications, governance information, and directories of participating providers and regions.
Digital World itself is an open network and open standards framework. No single company owns or exclusively controls it. Instead, a number of independent organizations - including founding reference providers such as ClearFoundation, ClearCenter, ClearSoftware, and ClearUnited - build and operate reference implementations, apps, and services on top of the shared standards. See Digital Providers for the current directory.
Regions, unions, and communities that adopt Digital World (see Regions) run their own member-facing apps and services - for example Utah Life, Hawaiian Life, and Pacific Union - each operated by its own regional partner rather than by a single central operator.
Standards, disputes, and network-level decisions are handled through open councils and published legislation rather than by a single operating company. See Governance Structure for how that works.
This table names the operator, region, and support path for each major component. Where a specific legal entity has not yet been published for a component, that is stated directly rather than left implied.
| Component | Operator | Legal entity | Region | Infrastructure | Support contact |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Main website (digitalworld.earth) | Digital World reference providers - see Digital Providers | Not yet published | Global | Provider-hosted | Contact |
| Digital World Network | Founding reference providers: ClearFoundation, ClearCenter, ClearSoftware, ClearUnited | ClearFoundation, ClearCenter, ClearSoftware, ClearUnited | Global | Independent, provider-operated nodes | Contact |
| LIFE App | Reference provider - see Digital Providers | Not yet published | Global | Provider-hosted | Contact |
| Utah Life | Regional partner - see Regions | Not yet published | Utah, United States | Regional partner-hosted | Contact |
| Digital World Market | Reference provider - see Digital Providers | Not yet published | Global | Provider-hosted | Contact |
| Identity services | Independent identity and credential providers - see Digital Providers | Not yet published per provider | Global | Provider-hosted | Contact |
Because responsibility is distributed across independent organizations, questions about a specific app or service are best directed to the provider that operates it - see Contact.
